Farleigh Hospice Golf Day 2024

Backhouse Director Colin Murphy had a thoroughly enjoyable day on Wednesday at Braintree Golf Club supporting Farleigh Hospice. Although there were no eagles shot for Colin or a hole-in-one, he was delighted to win the ‘nearest the pin’ on hole 4!

Backhouse Solicitors Training Afternoon 2024

This year the afternoon began with some fun games in the office before heading to The Chapter House, where the Backhouse team took part in a tabletop escape game. Taking on the role of professional bank thieves, working together for one last score the teams raced against the clock to solve a series of puzzles and unravel the clues to acquire the security code to break into the banks safe. The winning team received a prize and the ‘Backhouse Solicitors Winning Team 2024’ trophy! We ended the day with some well-earned cocktails and drinks in the evening sunshine accompanied by a delicious BBQ at The Two Brewers.

We are supporting Farleigh Hospice by taking part in their fundraising event, Walk 4 Life.

This year we challenged our experts to take part in a Dragon’s Den/The Apprentice style pitch to the leadership team, with the winning team receiving a prize and trophy. Afterwards we all headed to Boom Battle Bar in Chelmsford, to take part in many of the activities and games! We ended the day with some well-earned drinks and a tasty BBQ at The Two Brewers.
