As we emerge from lockdown, the rules and regulations around furlough and the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) are changing. Businesses should speak to a solicitor if they need:

  • Advice on furlough leave

  • Help in understanding flexible furloughing

  • Guidance on the CJRS in general

Speak to a lawyer about flexible furlough

The CJRS has been in place since March 2020 and has helped many businesses retain staff preventing widespread redundancies.

On 1 July 2020 it was extended to introduce claims for “flexible furlough” where employers can bring employees who were previously full-time furloughed back to work on different shift patterns.
