As we emerge from lockdown, the rules and regulations around furlough and the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) are changing. Businesses should speak to a solicitor if they need:
Help in understanding flexible furloughing
Guidance on the CJRS in general
Speak to a lawyer about flexible furlough
The CJRS has been in place since March 2020 and has helped many businesses retain staff preventing widespread redundancies.
On 1 July 2020 it was extended to introduce claims for “flexible furlough” where employers can bring employees who were previously full-time furloughed back to work on different shift patterns.
Employer Furlough Information Pack
To help business owners get things right, our furlough solicitors have prepared a pack for employers covering all the key steps involved, including how to obtain proper consent from employees to be able to furlough them and how to take them off furlough leave when the time comes.
