Palaniappan qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 and has over 15 years’ experience specialising in residential conveyancing and property law.
With a broad legal background, Palaniappan brings extensive knowledge and expertise to every property transaction. He has significant experience in training and mentoring junior staff and is committed to ensuring transactions progress smoothly while protecting his clients’ interests throughout the process.
Palaniappan joined the Residential Property team at Backhouse Solicitors in January 2026 as a Senior Solicitor and was quickly promoted to Head of Residential Conveyancing at the Chelmsford office, joining the firm’s Leadership Team.
Outside of work, Palaniappan is heavily involved in numerous charitable initiatives. He also enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, making the most of his time away from the office and recharging.
