Sarah began her career in conveyancing at the age of 18 and has built an impressive reputation through her expertise, dedication, and client-focused approach. Qualifying as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2011, she spent many years practicing in Chester before, as she likes to say, being “imported” to Essex after meeting her partner.
Sarah joined Backhouse Solicitors as a Senior Licensed Conveyancer, bringing extensive experience across all aspects of residential conveyancing, including new build transactions. Recognised for both her technical expertise and her ability to mentor and develop colleagues, she was soon promoted to Associate.
In July 2024, Sarah was appointed as a Director of Backhouse Solicitors Limited in recognition of her significant contribution to the firm’s success. Her dedication, expertise and influence within the leadership team continue to play a key role in driving the business forward.
Leading our Residential Conveyancing team in Leigh-on-Sea, she oversees a thriving department and is committed to delivering an outstanding client experience throughout every stage of their property journey.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys swimming and spending time with friends, often over what she describes as “a couple of glasses of wine”.
