Job Vacancy – Employment Law Solicitor

Backhouse Solicitors Limited are looking for an ambitious Employment Solicitor to join their highly reputable Employment team based in Chelmsford. We are looking for candidates who are 4+ years PQE but would also consider more junior applicants who have the ability to learn quickly whilst training.

About You

Possessing strong client development and networking skills, applicants should be confident and self-motivated individuals.

About the Role

You will be provided with a full and varied caseload to cover the full range of contentious and non-contentious Employment matters to both corporate and individual clients. The role will also include but not be limited to:-

  • Grievance and disciplinary proceedings
  • Unfair dismissal
  • Redundancies
  • Discrimination and harassment
  • TUPE
  • Contracts of Employment, handbooks and policies
  • Previous advocacy experience is an advantage as is the desire to represent in the Employment Tribunal.
