Job Vacancy – Private Client Legal Secretary

An opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Legal Secretary within our Wills and Probate Department. You will be required to deliver secretarial and administrative support together with a flexible and positive approach to working in a busy and demanding growing firm. Duties will include audio and copy typing, preparing legal forms, answering the telephone and dealing with clients.

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Typing Wills
  • Typing LPAs
  • Typing Codicils
  • Preparing Estate Accounts
  • IHT forms
  • Probate experience
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team

You must be able to work well under pressure and be able to use your own initiative. Working as part of a wider Admin Team you will also be required to take part on the Admin Team rota and the hours for this are 8.30 – 5.00, 9.00 – 5.30 and 9.30 – 6.00 where reception cover is also required.

Successful applicants will have previous Private Client experience within a legal environment and be enthusiastic and organised.
