Two years ago, we proudly shared the exciting news that three of our young and talented professionals were the first at Backhouse Solicitors to enrol onto the Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship with BPP. Then in 2024, we were delighted to extend the same opportunity to two more valued members of the Backhouse team, Amy and Charlotte. Here we are again, thrilled to report that for the third time, in three years, our third group of highly motivated individuals, eager to become the next generation of legal minds, have begun their Level 7 Apprenticeship journey!
For Courtney Partridge, Lucas Fossey and Charlotte Murphy, the course will open up an exciting route to qualifying as a solicitor. With the support of our experts at Backhouse Solicitors and BPP, our apprentices will not only explore a wide range of knowledge topics and areas of law, but also sharpen key skills in research, drafting, legal writing, client interviewing and attendance note writing, case matter analysis and negotiation, all while they continue to work as part of the Backhouse team.

What an opportunity! I am really pleased to be starting the Level 7 course. It is also reassuring to know other team members are already partway through and able to share their experiences.
I feel a mix of nerves and excitement as I take this next step in my legal career. I am keen to apply what I have learnt so far and see my skills develop.
Being able to continue working in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team at Backhouse whilst taking the next step in my career towards qualifying is great. I am looking forward to continuing my legal education and I am grateful to Backhouse for providing me with this opportunity.
Our apprentices are more than ready to take on the commitment and rise to the challenge. They are looking forward to the year ahead as they train to qualify as solicitors. We’ll be with them every step of the way! Good luck!
