I am pleased to have joined Backhouse Solicitors as an Associate Solicitor in the Commercial Property team and am looking forward to getting to know my new colleagues, the firm’s clients, and contributing to the growth and development of the department.
After growing up in Billericay, Essex, I went on to study Law (LLB Hons) at the University of Westminster, before completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law and embarking on my career as a Solicitor.
With over 8 years of post-qualification experience, I can advise across a diverse range of property matter types, including acquisitions and disposals of commercial properties, commercial leases and associated landlord and tenant matters (including assignments, alterations, variations, renewals and surrenders), and property finance matters. My experience also extends to residential lease extensions.
With all my clients, I strive to provide practical and commercially focused advice and manage transactions efficiently from initial instructions through to completion.
I am very much looking forward to the next chapter of my career with Backhouse Solicitors.
Life outside the office
Outside of work, I play badminton at a local club and am a keen walker. I have completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge and am always on the lookout for the next trail or challenge to take on.
I am also a passionate football supporter, although I will keep the identity of my club to myself! I enjoy travelling and experiencing new cultures, with the Greek islands being a particular favourite, as well as seeking out a good pub closer to home.
