What a great success!  Thank you very much to everyone who attended Friends of City on 28 June.  We had nearly 70 attendees from a wide range of businesses and the feedback from our guests has been overwhelmingly positive.  So, before you ask “when is the next one?” here are all the details.

So what do you need to know?
We get together once a month at Chelmsford City FC (Melbourne Park, Salerno Way, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 2EH), alternating between breakfast and lunchtime meetings.  The next event is a lunch on Wednesday 25 July from 12pm-2pm.  The meetings are free to attend – if you like us and you’d like to join up and support the club there is a great membership package which includes advertising space and a copy of the attendance list, but that’s up to you.  There’s plenty of free parking and food, tea and coffee is provided free of charge.  How’s that for great value?

The meetings are very informal – there are no bells or whistles and you don’t need to give a 60 second speech.  The word is out after the last event and we have already taken lots of bookings for 25 July, so we can guarantee you will meet a real mix of businesses – large and small.  This is a great opportunity to make new contacts and catch up with old friends in a relaxed environment.  Minal Backhouse, our MD will give a short presentation on a current topic of interest, so you’ll have 5 minutes’ break to eat your buffet lunch!
